I’ve included versions of the key art here finished over the dark/night background sky which we pitched, produced, and had approved before a major set of layoffs necessitated starting over - I just really love the dark ones, so I’ve saved them here. Unfortunately those were not used. The concept still works though, and the final execution is beautiful, ominous, foreboding, and the “hole” is stil both scary and ambiguous. The season 3 premiere was a massive ratings success with 4.2 million viewers, substantial growth which bore out the research we did at several different stages of development. Developing a concept for a hit show of this magnitude was an amazing experience, an honor, and ultimately, work that I’m extremely proud of.
